The world has become a village. Over the last decades people, religions, cultures and languages have mixed. Most of us can spontaneously name friends from at least 15 nations. Love also often strikes between two people who have their roots somewhere else in the world. I was able to experience free weddings that united cultures, continents and languages in a miraculous way.
In many respects there is a desire to give a promise to one another, to stand together, or to say YES to each other in front of your family and friends. If this desire becomes more concrete, the questions of how and where often arise - especially with same-sex couples.

Do we simply want to register our partnership or do we want a real wedding party? Is there a form of ceremony for us, which appeals equally to both of us? Which regards our history, individuality and languages to the same extent?

A free wedding ceremony could be the perfect solution for you. It is designed according to your wishes, needs and linguistic backgrounds - unique, only for and with you. And the best thing about it is: You can say yes wherever you want! Be it on a mountain peak, at the lakeside or in your home garden. Everything is optional - nothing is a must!

About me

The world said hello to me in Oberaargau, Switzerland in 1985 and I stayed there for quite a while until I was infected by the travel fever. This was probably connected with the fact that I envied some of my classmates, because they grew up multilingual and spent most of the summer holidays in the home country of their parents. We did not know that, I did not (even if I am really convinced of it today) have any roots outside of Switzerland - neither linguistically or otherwise. So my ambition was to get to know the world, the cultures and also the languages. To finance this, I did an apprenticeship and then first worked for a bank, then for the federal government.

So I traveled, often alone, to many exciting spots. By the time I was always more addicted to a very special one: the Yucatan peninsula.

Since 2004 I have been there whenever possible. The colors, the people, the salt in the hair ... It's just a paradise for me! In 2006 I lived there for 3 months and learned Spanish. This supplemented my foreign language knowledge. 

2009 was a year of change. My whole life was turned upside down in a very short time and it took me a year to find a new direction. So I found a new job and thus first opportunities to work in the event business. During a business trip to Las Vegas, I met my husband in the MGM lobby, even though we both lived 20km apart in Switzerland. I have seen him and would like to be in front of the wedding altar the next day. I knew right away, here he is!

My professional career then led me to further my education in marketing and PR. For some years I worked as an event manager and today I work as a consultant in the MICE business.

In 2015, on my 30th birthday, I received the long-awaited marriage proposal. Now the question arose where and how we want to get married. It quickly became clear that we wanted a bilingual ceremony because my husband has Serbian roots. So I started my research and found no one. I realized that it is generally difficult to find multilingual speakers, so I founded MissionLove.

A year before, I was allowed to create an intimate wedding ceremony for a good friend and knew then that this was something incredibly wonderful. Since 2015 I do ceremonies and about 60% of all them are multilingual. Yes, I'm even outgrowing myself because I've already had Portuguese wedding ceremonies and greetings in Danish, Macedonian, Greek and Farsi. I am totally open and happy when the couple can incorporate their roots on their wedding day. That's why my weddings are always very personal, individual and non religious.

Offer

Since the marriage ceremony should be become the most emotional part on your wedding day and you will give me the confidence to elicit the YES-word, it is incredibly important that we can first get to know each other without any obligations.

If possible, the first conversation takes place in person and is free of charge. Here your wishes can be considered and I can give you a better insight into my kind of weddings. Wherever your wedding will take place (at a lake, on a mountain peak, somewhere abroad or in your own garden), I am absolutely flexible and look forward to extraordinary locations.

And as already mentioned, I am also very flexible considering the language.

The costs for a free marriage are 1,990.- in German or Swiss German. 2-3 meetings, all texts and expenses are included in this price.

For each foreign language an additional 300.- will be charged.

For weddings in Ticino and western Switzerland, I charge 0.70.- per KM from the language border. You are marrying abroad? I am happy to make you a personal offer.
